At Laflèche Environmental, we believe that economic development and community development should go hand in hand.
We contribute $1 per ton of waste accepted at our site to the Township of North Stormont through our Host Community Fund. This money becomes part of the township's general revenue, to be spent at their discretion.
An additional dollar per ton goes to the Laflèche |

Environmental Trust , which is invested to preserve and manage wetlands in Eastern Ontario.
We are also proud to donate time, money and energy to individual community development and charity projects. We recently provided a $6,500 boost to the planned renovation of Moose Creek's public swimming pool, bringing our total community investment to approximately $100,000 per year. We also fund SEAPR ( Service aux Enfants et Adultes de Prescott + Russell). Laflèche Environmental Inc. is also currently financing studies with four separate universities to expand the boundaries of environmental science and practice. It is our hope that with the experience and knowledge gained from these studies, the students involved will become the scientific, industrial and community leaders of tomorrow.
